Shihua Karst Cave—Uncanny Workmanship and Blooming Stone Flower
Located at 18N latitude, the Danzhou Shihua Karst Cave by far has been the karst cave with lowest latitude developed in China. According to a professional inspection done by China Karst Cave Association, Shihua Cave was formed 1,400,000 years ago, composing cave, stone forest and tropical orchard scene. Three scenic spots of unique style are supplementary to each other, comprising a comprehensive garden for sightseeing, science research and education.

The cave is formed by land cave and water tunnel with impressive scenery such as stalactite, stalagmite,pristine, stone flag, stone waterfall, stone tongue, curling stone, aragonite flower, and single-crystal calcite flowers, in particular the characteristic helictite whose value ranks at the national level due to its mysterious formation. The aragonite and monocrystalline calcite stone flowers are rarely seen both at home and abroad. The water tunnels are winding, bizarre, and colorful. Taking a boat trip in the karst cave provides a pleasant and wonderful experience to visitors as beautiful mountains, grotesque stone, and peaceful cave, tranquil and clear water, sentimental flowing water present the beauty to people.
